Like most everyone I sometimes find myself making excuses that serve to limit my potential as an athlete or as an individual in some other capacity. For example, I am in my mid-thirties and I may find myself saying that "I am too old to start such-an-such a sport" or " I would I would have started this when I was a teenager."
Now when I hear other people say this I would typically take them to task on their attitude. It is amazing what we let ourselves say or do that we would not accept from our friends, partners, clients etc.
Now and then I receive or stumble upon a reminder that puts this self-defeating attitude to rest.
This 67 year old man makes no excuses for his age and puts himself through some fantastic training routines; he clearly enjoys his challenging lifetsyle:
Thanks to Ross for the link. I can't say enough good stuff about the guy, his books or his site.
P.S. I finally figured out how to embed a video!
