Train for the Mountain
The mountain won’t adapt to you. In order to thrive in the austere environment you need to rise to its level. You will need to develop a wide range of specific skills, general skills, and physical capacities. Technical proficiency in your field, the ability to navigate and make good decisions, as well as the ability to endure are all in your hands.
The gym will not substitute for time in the elements. It will offer you an opportunity to lay a physical foundation and build upon it season after season.
We offer and explore physical preparation and strength development for mountain athletes: climbers, runners, alpinists, skiers, SAR members, backcountry hunters, guides, rangers.
Join us in our little physical laboratory of strength and endurance in East Vancouver where we try to get smarter and better every season and build strength for mountain athletes.
