Check out the video below about female "strongman" competitors that I stumbled across today. I am psyched to have found a number of female clients who are getting more interested in performance and in getting strong as hell. The video will perhaps help dispel some of the myths about strength training making women bulky, "unfeminine" or whatever. Personally I think that "feminine" should mean whatever you want it to mean. Some women are able to redefine femininity and others reject the concept outright. Power to them both!

Joe Hashey at Synergy Athletics brought this video to my attention:

I'm going to have to give this one a try really soon.

Hey Terminalistes, Terminalistas, and assorted readers!

I want to make this site interesting and useful to you.

So tell me what you want and I'll try and bring it!

Email me:  terminalcitytraining@gmail.com

Now, whether you are laying on your back in mud doing some foul calisthenics or recovering between heavy sets of deadlifts, kick it!

And be glad you're doing what you're doing.

One more thing: if you dig old school strongmen and old school methods then do yourself a favour and check out the Sandow Plus site. Apart from an awesome collection of old photos the site contains scans of many vintage texts written by the Golden Age heroes of strength. I can't wait until the day when I have time to really dig into them.
