Soft tissue work with the foam roller and tennis ball/lacrosse ball/baseball is a fantastic addition to one's day, whether done first thing in the morning or as part of the "stretching" circuit to wind down a workout. Like most everyone I sometimes find myself making excuses that serve to limit my potential as an athlete or as an individual in some other capacity. For example, I am in my mid-thirties and I may find myself saying that "I am too old to start such-an-such a sport" or " I would I would have started this when I was a teenager."
